6. General Description

The Plot

Construction

These rooms are constructed of coral brick walling all rendered and white washed externally while some plastered, some natural and painted internally. Some rooves are rustproof sheet roofing and some pitched under makuti for natural cooling effect. Floors are white concrete and some terrazzo. The doors are either wood panel or tongue in groove. The windows are either glazed, louvered, wrought iron or wood while the ceilings are RC with paint.
